Announcements

    • Supplies – We still need facial tissue in my classroom. Also, too many students attend my class without sharpened pencils and a composition book. Please make sure your student has a small group folder that has 3 prongs.
    • CPS 5th Grade Promotion Policy – This is the first year that promotion is not guaranteed for a 5th grader. Students with a D or F average throughout the school year in any major subject, and if they do not show growth in small group skills, then they will have to attend summer school. I provide intervention or enrichment for all students through small-group instruction. If your 5th-grade student has less than a C average in math and is not showing any growth during small group instruction, they will have to attend summer school and meet that criteria before they are promoted.
