• Winter Break – Although there will be no assigned Winter Break work, students should continue to use Freckle to complete practice activities at their own level. Freckle uses students’ Star 360 Math data to provide practice activities that will improve their test scores. The next Star 360 assessment window is in January. • Supplies – Winter Break is a great time to get more supplies for your student. Students need a composition book and sharpened pencils at all times during math class. Please view my syllabus to get a list of all the other supplies. We are in need of facial tissue for students to keep their noses clean during this time of the year. Please donate if you are able to.
• Math Workbook – During Winter Break, please have your child keep their math workbook in their bookbag and store their bookbag in a place they will remember at home. It is easy to forget where you place something that you will not use for two weeks. We do not have any more math workbooks to provide students if they lose them.
• 2nd Quarter Grades – Math grades will be finalized tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
• 6th Grade Test Postponed – Since so many students have been absent due to illnesses, I decided to postpone the test until we return from Winter Break in January 2024.
• No Homework Calendar – End of the Quarter
