Frayer Word Cards for Math

In order for you to be able to solve problems, you have to understand what the question is asking you to do. This means you must know the vocabulary associated with the problem. Creating Frayer Word Cards has many benefits:

• Defining the term will help you understand the term in order to solve problems.
• Listing characteristics related to the term will deepen your understanding the the term.
• Providing examples of the term will help you know the term when you see it.
• Listing non-examples of the term will help you eliminate choices with multiple-choice questions.
