Progress Reports – I sent home progress reports on 5/9/19. Most students did not return them with a parent signature. Students will have to serve recess detention until they return their progress report with a parent signature. Additionally, students who are missing assignments will also have to serve recess detention until those assignments have been submitted. Students will receive a CPS progress report on Friday, May 17th. I am trying to make sure students have a C or better on their progress report.

Compass Learning – I will not assign anymore Compass Learning growth folders to complete. However, students should complete any missing Compass Learning assignments. Students should have the following assignments completed for the 4th quarter:

  • 18 Geometry
  • 16 Measurement and Data
  • Dr. B. Geometry Practice Folder (included 4 quizzes)

Homework – Students are assigned homework based on their NWEA Operations and Algebraic Thinking RIT Bands. The homework is posted on Google Classroom and Hmwk_34.

Measurement and Data Projects – Projects are due Thursday, May 16, 2019. Please note that students are expected to present their projects neatly. Projects are worth a test grade. This is an easy opportunity for students to take their time and get an A to prove their understanding of measurement concepts.

  • Week beginning 5/13 – Operations and Algebraic Thinking
  • Week beginning 5/20 – Real and Complex Number Systems
  • Week beginning 5/27 – Geometry
  • Week beginning 6/03 – Measurement and Data (if time permits)
